Here at NK Hire we can supply plant hire machinery with or without drivers or operators. However if you choose to have the machinery supplied with operators you can be safe in the knowledge that all of our staff are CITB Qualified Drivers & Operators.
The CITB
CITB is a statutory Training Board with the purpose of encouraging the adequate training of those employed or intending to be employed in the construction industry in Northern Ireland.
CITB can help you invest in your people in a way that grows your business - help you understand the different training programmes on offer, help you decide which best suits your needs for the coming year and offer CITB Grants to help offset the cost.
A High Level Of Training
A consistently high level of training is particularly important in construction, because the workforce moves from project to project and because of the high level of health and safety risks associated with construction.
Sharing the investment across the industry helps to maintain a solid skills base, meeting the immediate needs of individual employers and in the long term benefiting the whole industry by helping avoid skill shortages and inflationary pay.
